Quite an incredible afternoon in La Madera, Northern New Mexico. The lighting was amazing, the setting was gorgeous, and the amount of love in the air was evident in all the care taken for creating this beautiful wedding at Cliff River Springs. The light pink and off-white color scheme for the women was perfect – lovely and light, everything just came together wonderfully. The bride and groom were a bit camera shy at the beginning, but soon became more comfortable with me following them around. So many beautiful shots. These are some of my favorites.

This was quite possibly one of my favorite weddings to shoot – yeah, well, I say that about all of them, it seems – haha 🙂

A small, intimate event in the woodland beauty of Balsam Glade, Sandia Crest. I was honored to be a part of the group in attendance. After walking up the pathway together to the spot they’d chosen for the ceremony, the bride and groom went off on a little mountain exploration adventure. I tagged along for some beautiful, personal shots of the newlyweds. Afterwards, a fantastic meal for the reception was held at the picnic area. The kids in attendance just loved the mountains, leaping about in their fancy attire.

What an honor to be present at this tiny ceremony – elopement – for this sweet couple! Along with their parents and the officiant, I was there to witness the union at the gorgeous Hacienda Vargas – complete with a beautiful candlelit ceremony, and plenty of spectacular photo backdrops on the grounds. Simple, elegant, timeless.

One of the most fun and intricately detailed weddings I’ve ever been to! A splendid event, complete with costume changes for the entire bridal party (from traditional to steampunk) AND a gelato bar (!!!). Even many of the guests came in full steampunk attire! I arranged to use a closed-for-the-evening restaurant with gorgeous wood paneling for our backgrounds for the steampunk photos. What an evening!

A lighthearted, fun-filled gathering, full of silly faces and funny poses. The couple shared pizza and roasted marshmallows with their guests, who amused themselves playing the myriad of games set out on the grounds (giant Jenga sets?!). I had so much fun with the wedding party, taking goofy shots of them throughout the evening.
